Health Care Innovation

Digital Health

The digital health revolution continues to grow at an incredible pace, changing the way we access and manage health care. And while digital health solutions can provide faster and better health outcomes—and even address health disparity, equity, and access issues—they also create a complex regulatory and legal frontier, particularly in areas like telehealth, interoperability, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Companies developing and implementing digital health applications need legal counsel skilled not only in health law but savvy at helping new solutions come to life, while protecting patients, consumers, providers, and innovators alike. Our team can help you navigate that complex regulatory frontier, advise on contractual and data governance matters, and secure critical protections for your innovations. That way, you can capitalize on all digital health has to offer without exposing undue risks.

Our team regularly counsels on health data exchanges, electronic health records (EHRs), electronic medical records (EMRs), document management systems, and other related industry-wide software and systems. We not only understand applied health law and legal considerations, but we also bring working knowledge of the technical systems themselves.
